Abstract
Objective To evaluate the level of oxygen free radical、soluble intercellular adhesion molecule- 1 (sICAM- 1), Insulin- like growth factors - I (IGF- I), Insulin- like growth factors -Ⅱ (IGF- Ⅱ) etc in peritoneal fluid of patients with endometriosis and its relation in pathogenesis of infertile. Methods 29 patients were enrolled into three group: EM 29 cases, early stages 10 cases, severe stages 19 cases and control group 10 cases. The level of IGF- I, IGF- Ⅱand E2 in the peritoneal fluid were detected by ELISA and SOD, MDA by biochemical method.Re- sults The level of SOD, MDA and E2 in the peritoneal fluid of EM was significantly higher than that of control group(P 0.05, P 0.05, P 0.05); The level of SOD, MDA and E2 in the peritoneal fluid had no difference be- tween early stages and severe stages (P 0.05, P 0.05, P 0.05). In EM groups and early stages, The level of sICAM- 1 in the peritoneal fluid of EM was significantly higher than that of control group (P 0.05, P 0.05); In EM groups and severe stages, The level of IGF- I in the peritoneal fluid of EM was significantly higher than that of control group(P 0.01, P 0.01); while the level of IGF- Ⅱhad no difference between EM and control group (P 0.05, P 0.05, P 0.05).ConclusionThe endometriosis is relate to metabolistic unbalance of oxygen free radical and the results suggest that sICAM- 1, IGF, E2 may play some roles on the pathogenesis of endometriotic.
