Effect of Neiyi Prescription of QIU on Expressions of Matrix Metalloproteinase-2 and Tissue Inhibitor of Metalloproteinase-2 in Rats with Endometriosis

Objective:To investigate the effect of Neiyi Prescription of QIU on expressions of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 in rats,and to probe into the mechanism.Methods:To establish suitable models of endometriosis in rats by autoplastic endomotrium transplantation.The formation model SD rats were extracted and isolated to five groups and given the relevant drugs.There were Neiyi Prescription of QIU high-dose group(HDG),middle-dose group(MDG),low-dose group(LDG),Danazol group(DG).After four weeks' treatment,all the rats were observed the levels of TIMP-2 in the blood and the expression of MMP-2 in the ectopic endometrium.Results:①Compared with control group,the levels of TIMP-2 in the blood was lower than that in other groups,and the expression of MMP-2 was the strongest(P0.05).②The level of TIMP-2 in LDG was lower than HDG and MDG,but the expression of MMP-2 was opposite(P0.05).③And compared with HDG,MDG and DG,there was no difference among the three groups(P0.05).Conclusion:Neiyi Prescription of QIU can enhance the expression of MMP-2,and reduce the level in the blood.Neiyi Prescription of QIU with high-dose and middle-dose can make the higher concentration return to normal level and the effect is better than the low-dose.Danazol has the same therapeutic effect.It is probably one of the action mechanisms in treating endometriosis.
