Abstract

Abstract In this study, the generalized birth & death processes, a subclass of Semi-Markov processes are introduced, and some qualitative results of modelling degradation processes are produced. The long-term influences of closeness and breastfeeding are simulated by using the mathematical dynamics. The processes unique parameterization is given in a more user-friendly presentation of the outcomes. The conditional state probabilities associated with the cycles, which are particularly relevant to degradation processes, give special emphasis. A non-linear mathematical model is introduced along with necessary experimental observations to study the given medical problem.
