Abstract

The 8 th Biennial Meeting of ASGO 2023 had menopause 1 year back and had no history of hormonal contraceptives. The physical examination showed a 3 cm palpable cervical mass.We performed a radical hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and pelvic lymph node dissections.Histopathology revealed malignant epithelial tumor cells arranged in solid architecture. The nuclei showed hyperchromasia, vesicular and prominent nucleoli, mitotic figures present, and abundant clear cytoplasm. The lymph nodes are seen almost completely replaced by metastatic tumor cells in hematoxylin eosin staining. Therefore, we performed an adjuvant complete radiotherapy due to the existence of lymph node metastasis. After one year, the patient came back without any complaints and was reported to be free from recurrence or metastasis confirmed by contrast MRI.Conclusion: Clear cell adenocarcinoma of the cervix uteri is a rare entity of non-HPV related cervical cancer in present time after cessation of DES therapy.Currently there are no management guideline for this rare case. Our treatment is mainly based on the experience and equalize the non-CCAC cases.
