In this letter, we study a joint task offloading and computing resource allocation problem in LEO satellite MEC systems, aiming to minimize a weighted sum of system energy consumption and execution delay under resource constraints. The formulated problem jointly optimizes user-satellite association, task offloading ratio, and satellite CPU allocation, and is a mixed-integer nonconvex optimization. To efficiently solve it, we develop a low-complexity alternating optimization framework based on block coordinate descent, where each subproblem admits an efficient solution. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme consistently outperforms baseline schemes in terms of both energy efficiency and latency. Ask this paper AI returns verbatim quotes from the full text · source: preprint-html

Answers must be backed by verbatim quotes from this paper's full text. Hallucinated quotes are dropped automatically; if no verbatim passage answers the question, we say so. How this works
