Expressions and significance of CD44V6,ICAM-1 and E-cadherin in endometriosis

Objective:To study the expressions of CD44v6,ICAM-1 and E-cadherin in ectopic endometrium and eutopic endometrium of endometriosis and their roles in pathogenesis of endometriosis.Methods:The expression levels of CD44v6,ICAM-1 and E-cadherin from ectopic endometrium and eutopic endometrium in 30 cases with endometriosis and normal endometrium from 30 cases without endometriosis were detected by immunohistochemical SP method.Results:The expression levels of CD44v6 and ICAM-1 in ectopic endometrium group increased significantly (P0.05),the expression level of E-cadherin in ectopic endometrium group decreased significantly (P0.05); the expression levels of CD44v6,ICAM-1 and E-cadherin in eutopic endometrium group decreased significantly (P0.05).Conclusion:CD44v6,ICAM-1 and E-cadherin are related to oncogenesis and development of endometriosis closely.
