Ureteral endometriosis (report of 4 cases)

Objective: To determine the diagnosis and treatment of ureteral endometriosis. Methods:4 cases of ureteral endometriosis were reported, and the literature of ureteral endometriosis was presented. The diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of ureteral stenosis due to endometriosis was reviewed.Results:The(24/26) patients due to ureteral endometriosis presented low-back pain or disorder. During the treatment associated with endourology, The outcome was excellent with low postoperative morbidity.Conclusion:Only a high index of suspicion may help to reduce the number of alarming nephrectomies associated to this condition.
