Summary The article analyzes the possibilities and effectiveness of ovarian drilling by transvaginal hydrolaparoscopy compared with the use of abdominal laparoscopic access. The technique of the surgical intervention performing is described, and intraoperative, early and late postoperative results are analyzed. It has been proven that the method of choice for surgical stimulation of ovulation in clomiphen-resistant women with PCOS and obesity is ovarian drilling by transvaginal hydrolaparoscopy.
