Abstract
Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of CT in abdominal wall endometriosis.Materials and Methods 13 patients with abdominal wall endometriosis proved by pathology.Their CT imagings and clinic surgical as well as histopathologic findings were reviewed retrospectively. Results All mass near the cesarean section.6 cases were located in adipose layer,4 cases were as deep as rectus abdominis.Peritoneal were invaded in 3 cases. All mass appeared as a ill defined or well-defined mass of soft tissue density on CT plain scans, and with homo or heterogeneous enhancement on CT contrast enhanced scans. Conclusion CT scan is helpful in identifying the exact anatomical location of the lesion and the depth of infiltration in surrounding tissue.
