Although cardiovascular failure is a frequent consequence, acute myocarditis is rare. We report the case of a patient who presented with anaphylactic shock to rocuronium, complicated by acute myocarditis confirmed by cardiac MRI. Rapid recognition and multidisciplinary management led to a favourable outcome.
