Abstract
Objective To detect and analyse the serum leptin level in female infertility. Methods Serum leptin was detected by RIA in 187 cases of female infertility and 50 normal bearing female as control. Results The level of leptin in ovarian dysfunction group, antisperm antibody positive group, endometriosis group and control group were(21.14±2.52)μg/L,(17.39±3.02)μg/L,(20.77±2.36)μg/L, and(12.05±2.01)μg/L respectively. Leptin concentration in the three groups was significantly increased as compared with the normal bearing group (P0.01).Conclusion The high level of leptin has close relation with ovarian dysfunction, antisperm antibody positive and endometriosis.
