The therapeutic effect of mifepristone and DanE FuKang soft extract on endometriosis

Objective:To explore the clinical therapeutic effect of combined use of mifepristone and DanE FuKang soft extract on endometriosis.Method:73 patients in our hospital between May 2006 and February 2009 were separated into two groups.40 patients were in therapy group and the other 33 patients were in control group.After surgery,the patients in control group began to take orally 10mg mifepristone,one time per day for continuing 3 months.The patients in therapy group take orally 10mg mifepristone,one time per day,and DanE FuKang soft extract 15g,two times per day.The clinical symptom,gonadal hormone change,pregnancy index and adverse effect were observed before and after treatment.Result:The total effective rates of therapy group and control group were 92.5% and 69.7% respectively.The gonadal hormone of two groups reduced significantly(P0.01),but no significant difference was found between treatment group and control group.They were well tolerated by patients and without significant adverse effect.Conclusion:Mifepristone combined with DanE FuKang soft extract can improve clinical symptom of endometriosis patients with slightly adverse effect.It has a good clinical curative effect on the endometriosis and deserves to be generally applied.
