Abstract

Unter den Frauen im reproduktiven Alter sind 10–15% von einer Endometriose betroffen. Diese Erkrankung geht oft mit chronischen Schmerzen und Infertilität einher. B. Y. Park et al. haben nun in einer populationsbasierten, retrospektiven Kohortenstudie den Zusammenhang zwischen Endometriose und dem Risiko für eine schwere maternale Morbidität untersucht.
