Signification of nitric oxide concentration in peritoneal fluid of patients with endometriosis and infertility

Abstract

Objective:To study the expression of nitric oxide(NO)in endometriosis and infertility patients.Methods:The concentration of NO in peritoneal fluid were measured in 23 patients with endometriosis(EMS group),24infertility patients( infertility group)and 16 control patients.Results:The concentration of NO in peritoneal fluid with endometriosis group,infertility group and control group respectively were(25.40±10.13),(29.17±10.93)and(15.76±4.61).The concentration of NO in peritoneal fluid were statistically higher in endometriosis group and infertility group than control group(P0.05).Conclusion:NO is associated in the pathophysiology of endometriosis and infertility.
