Clinical effect of Mifepristone combined with Huayu Wenjing decoction for endometriosis

Objective To investigate the curative effect of Mifepristone combined with Huayu Wenjing decoction for endometriosis. Methods Totally 48 patients infected with endometriosis were selected to randomly assign into the treatment group and the control group. The control group took mifepristone,and the treatment group added to Huayu Wenjing decoction on the basis of control group treatment. The curative effect was evaluated after 3 menstrual cycles treatment,the changes of the size of the ectopic cyst was observed. Results The total effective rate in treatment group was 96. 0%. The total effective rate in control group was 73. 9%. There was significant difference between two groups( P 0. 05). The total effective rate in treatment group was superior to that in control group. The size of the ectopic cyst after treatment was reduced in two groups( P 0. 05). The decrease of size of the ectopic cyst in treatment group was superior to that in control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion Mifepristone combined with Huayu Wenjing decoction has definite effect on the treatment of endometriosis.
