Клинико-эпидемиологическая характеристика острого гематогенного остеомиелита у детей Сумской области

The results of treatment of 261 patients, aged 2 weeks to 14 years, with acute hematogenous osteomyelitis were analyzed for 1990-2004 in the article. There were prevalenced boys- 58,6 % and children more than 6 years old- 56,1%. In the majority the location of the process was in the long bones of the lower extremities. The local form(by T.P.Krasnobaev) was 88,5%.The reduction of cases of acute hematogenous osteomyelitis in Sumy region was not determined during last 15 years.
