Umbilical Endometriosis Associated with Umbilical Hernia

This case report describes a rare instance of spontaneous umbilical endometriosis occurring in association with an umbilical hernia. The authors present the clinical presentation and diagnostic findings of this specific manifestation of abdominal wall endometriosis, which is defined as endometrial tissue located superficial to the peritoneum. Cutaneous endometriosis is noted as a well-known but uncommon phenomenon, and this paper highlights its occurrence at the umbilicus without prior surgical intervention.
