Laparoscopy combined inducing ovulation induction in treatment of infertile women with endometriosis

ObjectiveTo study the role of laparoscopy combined ovulation induction in the treatment of infertile women with endometriosis(EMs). MethodsTotally 100 cases of EMs complicated with infertility were included into the study. Laparoscopic treatment included endocoagulation of pelvic endometriosis lesions, excision of ovarian endometriosis lesions, lysis of adhesions and hydrotubation. After Laparoscopic treatment, they were divided into two groups: the experiment group (50 cases) which was combined with ovulation induction and the control group (50 cases) which was not. The endometriosis recurred and the pregnancy rate was analyzed. ResultsThe pregnancy rate of experiment group (54%) was higher than that of the control group (34%, P0.05). ConclusionWith laparoscopic surgery combined with postoperative ovulation induction, the infertile women with endometriosis can have more pregnancy chance without increase of recurrence risk.
