Clinical Observation on TCM Treatment of Endometriosis Patients with Dysmenorrhea

Objective :To observe the the effects of the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)treatment(moving stagnation and expelling phlegm)on endometrium antibody in endometriosis patients with dysmenorrhea,and discuss how this therapy reacts on the EMT patients. Method :In the ways of syndrome differatiating,we divided the 70 EMT patients into four groups:Stagnation of Qi and Blood;Blood-cold lead to Stagnation of Blood;Dampness-heat lead to Stagnation of Blood;Deficiency of Kidney and Stagnation of Blood.We treated all the 70 patients with Chinese Herbs.At the same time,we design a group of 15 patients that used Danazol.Changes of dysmenorrhea symptom and physical signs such as B-scan and gynecologic examination was determined in patients before and after treatment.Serum EmAb content was detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay method.We observed the disparity of each index before and after the treatment and compared the difference of the curative effect of the four groups. Result :After treatment with Chinese Herbs,the patients′ symptom and physical signs were ameliorated.The efficiency rate was 85 7%,higher than the Danazol contrast group(66 6%).The amelioration of dysmenorrhea symptom was especially marked,including lessening of dysmenorrhea level,reduce of dysmenorrhea mark( P 0 01)and decrease of dysmenorrhea tempo( P 0 01).The positive rate of EmAb in EMT patients was 65 7%.After treatment with Chinese Herbs,the rate of EmAb turning to negative was 61 1%,higher than that of the Danazol contrast group(40%).The rate of turning negative in moderate and severe patients was lower than mild patients. Conclusion :The Chinese Herbs exert a strong immunoregulatory effect and inhibit the level of serum EmAb;have certain curative effect on endometriosis,especially on dysmenorrhea symptom.
