Abstract
Objective:To investigate what role do 14-3-3 proteins play in the development of human adenomyosis by detecting the expression of 14-3-3 proteins mRNA in adenomyosis. Methods:Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction was used to detect the expression of 14-3-3 proteins mRNA in normal endometrium, eutopic endometrium and ectopic endometrium with adenomyosis. Results:The expression of 14-3-3θ,e and ζ mRNA in eutopic and (or) ectopic endometrium with adenomyosis was up regulation when compared with normal endometrium. Conclusion:The abnormal expression of those three isoforms of 14-3-3 proteins may be involved in the development of adenomyois.
