Abstract

Objective To analyze the effect of peritoneal fluid of endometriosis model rats on human sperm function and the therapeutic effects of different Chinese herbs.Methods Six normal rats served as control group and 24 endometriosis model rats were randomly divided into four groups,three of them were treated with herbs for invigorating the kidney to promote blood circulation,to promote blood circulation to remove blood stasis,and to improve kidney asthenia.After treatment,the peritoneal fluids were taken from other two groups and incubated with normal sperm for sperm test and hypo-osmotic ratio.Results The peritoneal fluids with endometriosis model rats made sperm motile ratio and general hypo-osmotic ratio significantly lower than that in the control group(P0.01,P0.01),herbs for invigorating the kidney to promote blood circulation could restore the sperm function.Conclusion The peritoneal fluid with endometriosis model rats has significant effect on sperm function and herbs for invigorating the kidney to promote blood circulation could restore sperm function.
