Clinical observation on treatment of ovary endometriosis with Compound Gossypol Acetate Tablets after laparoscopic surgery

Objective To investigate the role of Compound Gossypol Acetate Tablets in ovary endometriosis after laparoscopic surgery.Methods Eighty-nine women with ovary endometriosis after laparoscopic surgery were randomly divided into two groups:control group 46 cases in laparoscopic surgery only;treatment group 43 cases combined laparoscopic surgery and oral Compound Gossypol Acetate Tablets 20 mg/d after operation.All patients were followed up for 24 months.The efficacy,relapse rate,pregnancy rate and side effects were campared between the two group.Results The rate of efficiency was 72.09% in the treatment group and 39.13% in the control group.The effects of the treatment group were higher than that of the control group(P0.05).The relapse rate in the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P0.05).The pregnancy rate in treatment group was significant higher than that of the control group(P0.01).Conclusion The effects are higher in combination of laparoscopic surgery and Compound Gossypol Acetate Tablets than simple operation for the treatment of ovary endometriosis.Compound Gossypol Acetate Tablets can be used for clinical medication after laparoscopic surgery.
