Abstract
Objective
To explore the effect of whole course nursing intervention on prevention of complications after hysterectomy and pelvic dissection.
Methods
A total of 108 patients with uterine malignant tumor who received surgical treatment in this hospital from January 2016 to June 2017 were selected. They were randomly divided into two groups, 54 cases of each group. All patients were treated with hysterectomy and pelvic dissection.Patients in the control group were given routine nursing care. While patients in the observation group were given whole-course nursing intervention. The nursing effect between the two groups were compared.
Results
The total incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group(24.07%) was significantly lower than that in the control group (50%), and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). After intervention, the scores of psychological, physiological, social relations, environment, own health status and recent life quality were significantly improved in the observation group compared with the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).
Conclusions
The whole course nursing intervention can be given to the patients who have undergone hysterectomy and pelvic dissection in order to prevent the postoperative complications and improve the quality of life.
