Abstract

Objective: To investigate the possible mechanism of Dan'e Fukang decocted extract(DFD) on pelvic pain of endometriosis(EMS) rats. Methods: The EMS rats were made by implanted tunica intima method. Then rats were randomly divided into 5 groups, which include sham operation group,EMS model group,Gestrinone group, high dose DFD group and low dose DFD group. After continuously intragastric administration for 30 days, the morphological changes of ectopic endometrium tissue were observed, and the levels of plasma TXB2 and 6-Keto-PGF1α were detected. Results: DFD could inhibit the growth of ectopic endometrium tissue, and significantly decreased the levels of plasma TXB2(P0.01),increased the level of plasma 6-Keto-PGF1α(P0.05).Conclusion: DFD has a better effect on pelvic pain in EMS rats through inhibiting the growth of ectopic endometrium tissue and regulating TXB2/6-Keto-PGF1α ratio.
