Changes and Significance of MMP-9、TIMP-1 in Endometria of Women with Adult Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding

Objective: To investigate the focal expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in endometrium of women with dysfunction uterine bleeding.Methods: The expression of MMP-9 、TIMP-1 in endometrium was detected by immunohistochemisty in 35 cases with adult dysfunction uterine bleeding and 20 normal women as controls.Results: The expression of MMP-9 in the focal bleeding position was siginicantly higher than that in normal position of endometrium and the control group.The expression of TIMP-1 in the focal bleeding position was significantly lower than that in normal position of endometrium and the control group.Conclusion: The imbalance status of MMP-9/TIMP-1 in focal endometrium is probably related to adult dysfunction uterine bleeding.
