Study of Indian Buddhist Cultural Heritage and Digital Heritage

Each civilization and each country are influenced by its own culture, traditions, and wisdom. India is world famous for its diverse cultural heritage which is its building blocks. Buddhism emerged in the 6th century BC. This phrase shaped not only India's spiritual history but also its intellectual culture. From India, Buddhism spread throughout Asia. India has many important Buddhist sites. We have selected 15 Buddhist Indian heritage sites for our study. UNESCO defines "digital heritage" as unique resources of human knowledge and expression "created digitally or transformed from existing analogue resources into digital form". With the development of new technologies and the availability of cultural heritage in digital form. In this research work, all selected fifteen Indian Buddhist historical sites nearly two thousand years old. Due to thousands of years of any natural or human-generated disasters, as well as the overloaded tourists’ damages to the heritage sites. The purpose of digital heritage preservation is to ensure that it remain s accessible to the public and to prevent it from disappearing. In this paper we have study digital heritage and this proposed research work present the process for digitally preservation of selected cultural heritage sites.
