Abstract

Background : Infertility is the capabiling of couple to \nspontaneously conceive, the length of time in which the couple is \nconsidered infertile is 1 year without protection during intercourse, one \nof the most cause of infertility is endometriosis. Endometriosis is the \ngrowth of endometrial glands andstroma derived from the uterine.IVF \nis an appropriate treatment especially when the function of the fallopian \ntube is disturbed (Darmasetiawan, 2006) \nMethod : The method of this study is observational analytics using \nsecondary data. The information was obtained from medical records by \ncompare the ratio of oocyte and embryo in endometriosis and non \nendometriosis patient in GrahaAmerta RSUD Dr.Soetomo Surabaya \nusing Mann-Whitney test. \nResult : In this study the group with the largest number of oocyte \nobtained is 16-20 oocyte with 10 people (31,25%) in non endometriosis \npatients. While in patients with endometriosis, the group with the \nhighest number of oocyte were 6-10 oocyte with 14 people (43,76%). \nFor the number of embyos in the non endometriosisatients the largest \ngroup was 6-10 embryo with 13 people (40,62%) endometriosis \npatients the largest group was 6-10 embrios with 13 people (40,62%). \nConclusion : There was difference between oocyte count in \nendometriosis and non endometriosis patients (p = 0,018). As for the \nnumber of embryos there was no difference between endometriosis and \nnon endometriosis patient (p = 0,147).
