Abstract

Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of transvaginal ultrasound on ovarion endometriosis cysts.Methods:We compared and analyzed the ultrasonographic manifestations and pathological findings of 167 ovarian cystic masses which were confirmed by preoperative ultrasound or post-operative pathologic diagnosis.Results:The ultrasonic features were categorized into 6 types.The diagnose accordance rate was different:it was the highest in the type of homogeneous-low-echo cyst(94.7%),while the lowest in the simple cyst(14.3%).146 cysts were diagnosed histologically endometrial cysts.The diagnostic accuracy of transvaginal ultrasound was 87.4%.Conclusion:The transvaginal ultrasonic features of endometrial cysts are of important diagnostic value,whereas differentiation with other histological cysts.
