Clinical Observation on the Effect of Peritoneoscope Operation plus Chinese Medicine for 34 Endometriosis Patients

Objective To observe the effect of Bushen Huoxue Jiedu Recipe(decoction for reinforcing the kidney, activating the blood, and removing toxins) on the endometriosis patients after peritoneoscope operation. Methods The 96 patients were randomized into 3 groups. Western medicine was administered gestrinone, Chinese medicine group was given Bushen Huoxue Jiedu Recipe, and control group was not medicated. Their clinical effect and pregnant situation were observed. Results The complete remission rate of pains and signs of the two treated groups was higher and the accumulated relapse rate was lower than that of control group. The difference of within 2-year pregnancy rate of Chinese medicine group and control group was significant(P0.05). Although the difference of pregnancy rate of the two treated groups was not significant(P0.05), the pregnancy rate was high (72.73% and 45% respectively). Conclusion The effect of Bushen Huoxue Jiedu Recipe on the endometriosis was obvious, especially for those who are complicated with sterility, being the first choice for the treatment of endometriosis.
