Abstract

To investigate the characteristics of ultrasound contrast before and after the treatment of ovarian endometriosis cyst. 43 OEC patients collected in our hospital pre hardening treatment, which were all unilateral and solitary, untreated. Before and after the treatment, all lesions were examined by contrast-enhanced ultrasound, and the thickness of capsule wall, enhancement pattern and time intensity curve were recorded and compared before and after the treatment. There was no significant change in the wall thickness of OEC after the treatment, but the thickness of the capsule wall in the two dimensional measurement was larger than that in CEUS. Before and after hardening treatment, the CEUS characteristics of OEC wall were overall enhancement, subsided slowly and there were no difference between began perfusion and Complete regression time; before hardening treatment, cyst wall enhanced even, after sclerotherapy with low enhancement and part of the capsule wall and contrast enhanced ultrasound showed inhomogeneous enhancement. Compared with before treatment, after the treatment, the peak time was delayed, the peak intensity was decreased, the gradient of perfusion was decreased, and the area under the curve was not significantly different between the time of the contrast agent and the time of the contrast agent. OEC sclerosis treatment is a slow and continuous process, therefore, the treatment of retaining the curing agent is more conducive to improve the efficacy of OEC sclerosis.
