Searching for A New Method to Establish An Endometriosis Model in Rat

Objective:Searching for a more convenient and effective method to establish an endometriosis model in rat,in order to take the place of the ordinary method that induces endometriosis during estrus.Method Endometriosis was induced in sixty female SD rat with sexual maturation by surgery of self-endometrium transplant.The rats were randomly taken operation during estrus,non-estrus with estrogen after operation and non-estrus with estrogen before and after operation.The growth situation,sizes and histology of ectopic cysts in three groups were examined and compared.Result There were no significant differences among three groups in the rate of successful model and the mean size of ectopic cysts.Conclusion Operation during non-estrus with estrogen after operation and during non-estrus with estrogen before and after operation,may take the place of that during estrus,and this kind of method is convenient and effective.
