Effect of laparoscopic surgery with mifepristone on treatment of endometriosis

Objective To investigate the laparoscopic surgery with the efficacy of mifepristone to treat endometriosis.Methods From May April 2010 to 2011 endometriosis treatment in our hospital 80 patients were selected for the study.80 patients were divided into the study group and the control group,40 cases in each treatment,the two groups are in menstrual clean 3-5 d after laparoscopic surgery.Observation group five days after the start of oral mifepristone 12.5 mg,twice daily,once every 3 months.The two groups were compared the efficacy and the two groups of patients after stopping ovulation,menstruation recovery time.Results The study group clinical complete remission rate,was 80.0%,significantly higher than that in the control group 50.0%,but the study group recurrence rate of 5.0%,signifi cantly lower than the control group 20%,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).Ovulation recovery time of study group was significantly faster than the control group,the study group menstruation recovery time was signifi cantly faster than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic surgery with mifepristone treatment of endometriosis significant effect,worthy of promotion and application.
