Abstract

This paper explains the algorithm behind the calculator exposed at https://whentotest.org/fr/individual-calculatorWe propose here a simple mechanism to provide people a test advice adapted to their lifestyle. This is based on the expected damage concept. Which is the expected number of people you could contaminate given your test history and you lifestyle. Note that it is not the expected number of people you could contaminate given you are infectious. We do not address in this paper how when using simulations, we can show how this approach helps individual to control their chance to transmit the disease. And endly control the outbreak overall.
