Abstract

Objective To observe the psychological/physiological stress state of patients who received tubal ligation. Methods 59 cases of patients those who received tubal ligation during Nov 2012 and Jun 2013 in our station were employed as the research object, compared the pre-/post-operative psychological /physiological stress state of them. The psychological stress state was assessed by Self-Rating Anxiety Scale( SAS),Self-rating depression scale( SDS). Physiological stress state was assessed by serum luteotropic hormone( LH),Follicle-stimulating hormone( FSH),Testosterone( T) and Estrodiol( E2). Results We observed different degrees of psychological, physiological stress response in patients after they received tubal ligation,SDS and SAS score were significantly increased one month preoperative. levels of LH,FSH and E2 were significantly decreased compared to that preoperative, the differences were statistically significant( P 0. 05). All the patients were followed up for 3 to 12 months,3 months later these indicators have eased, tend to be normal. Compared with the indicators of 1 months after operation, the differences were statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusions Patients have different degree of psychological /physiological stress after tubal ligation reaction, but it will not disturb daily life and work.
