Analysis of Treatment of 122 Cases of Ovarian Benign Tumor by Ovarian Decollement Under Laparoscope Plus Electrocoagulative Prothesis

Abstract
Objective: Exploring safety and feasibility of treatment of ovarian benign tumor by ovarian decollement under laparoscope plus electrocoagulative prothesis. Methods: Ovarian benign tumor decollement under laparoscope plus electrocoagulative prothesis was performed for 122 patients with ovarian benign tumor and comparison of the results was made with those of laparotomy for 96 cases of ovarian benign tumor in the same period. Results: The averaged operation time for the laparoscope group was 54.92min while this index for the laparotomy group was 76.52min. The difference between the 2 groups is statistically significant (P0.05). In comparison, the averaged volume of blood loss, postoperative morbidity and hospitalized days for the laparoscope and laparotomy groups were 54.26ml, 0.9%, 4d and 78.54ml, 6.9%, 7days respectively. The difference between the 2 groups is also statistically significant (P0.05). As for the laparoscope group, no patients used analgesics after operations and had intraperitoneal hemorrhage and patients could take food, discharge urine by themselves and get out of beds for movement 6h after operation. After operations, 6 month follow-up visits were made for both 44 cases of ovarian endometriosis in the laparoscope group and 36 cases of such a disease in the laparotomy group. The result showed that 3 cases in the laparoscope group (6.82%) and 6 cases in the laparotomy group (16.67%) suffered from hypogastralgia. Conclusion: Ovarian benign tumor decollement under laparoscope is a safe and effective operation, with the advantages such as little intraoperative hemorrhage, few hospitalized periods, quick postoperative recovery, low postoperative morbidity, few postoperative complications, etc. which is worthy of being clinically popularized and applied.
