Abstract

Objective To investigate the factors related to recurrence of endometriosis in young women who have undergone laparoscopic surgery in order to provide reference for clinical therapeutic strategies. Methods 150 young female patients with endometriosis and having undergone laparoscope surgery were selected.their recurrence rate, ages, ages of onset, course of disease, serum carbohydrate antigen CA125and other indicators were collected.Relapsing patients and those who did not relapse within 36months were compared.Through regression analysis of the single factor and multivariant factor COX proportional risk, the factors related to the postoperative recurrence were analyzed. Results Of all patients,46cases had postoperative recurrence and the recurrence rate was 30.67%.Single factor analysis showed that, age, onset age, preoperative gravidity, preoperative parity, postoperative treatment(reveived treatment of mifepristone or progestogen for 6months after the operation),postoperative gravidity and laparoscopic operation history were regarded as protective factors, while endometriosis operation history, posterior fornix tenderness nodules, postoperative ovulation treatment, bilateral pelvic lesion, high score of postoperative endometriosis staging were regarded as relevant risk factors.Multivariate COX proportional hazard regression analysis showed that age, postoperative treatment with mifepristone and progesterone 6months during the first half of the year after operation as protective factors, while endometriosis operation history, posterior fornix tenderness nodules, postoperative ovulation treatment, bilateral pelvic lesion, high score of postoperative endometriosis staging were regarded as relevant risk factors. Conclusion Analysis of factors related to the recurrence of endometriosis in the treatment of young women who have undergone laparoscopic surgery show that choosing operation methods and therapies in accordance with different related factors can effectively reduce the recurrence rate and improve the clinical effect.
