The expression and significiance of OPN and MMP-9 in endometriosis rats

Objective To analyze the expression of OPN and MMP-9 in ectopic endometrium and the relationship between OPN expression and MMP-9 in endometriosis.Methods The ectopic endometrial tissue(ectopic group) and eutopic endometrium from 37 pre-built model rats was compared with former model(control group) in order to determinate of the expression of OPN and MMP-9mRNA and protein.Results OPN highly expressed in the plasma membrane of epithelial cellsand a small amount of expression of interstitial while MMP-9 was mainly expressed in the cytoplasm of glandular epithelial cells and no expression in the nucleus;Immunohistochemistry showed that OPN expression in ectopic endometrium IOD(53 735.4±4 896).And it was significantly higher than that in eutopic group(33 733.8 ± 5 322) and a control group(37 291.2±4 588).Control group and the reign of group no significant difference in IOD(P0.05);The IOD of MMP-9 expressed in ectopic endometrium group(32 645±9 967) was higher than that in eutopic endometrium and control groups(P0.05).There was positive correlation between expression of OPN and MMP-9.Conclusion It is high that expression of OPN and MMP-9 in eutopic and ectopic endometrium in rats;There is positive correlation between expression of OPN and MMP-9.They may exist in the regulation of cell information between cascade regulations.
