Abstract

Many women with fibroids and endometriosis are unhappy with their care, a survey of more than 2600 women has found, and many resort to finding out about their condition online.1 A survey by the All Party Parliamentary Group on Women’s Health found that 62% of women were not satisfied with the information they received about treatment options for fibroids and endometriosis, 50% were not told about the short or long term side effects of their treatment, and 42% thought that they were not treated with dignity or respect.
