Abstract

Abstract Background: This article explores the utilisation of trans-mandibular nerve canal implant in patients who have restricted space in their jaw as a result of the close proximity to the inferior alveolar nerve. The article discusses the drawbacks of conventional implant techniques in these situations and presents innovative approaches, for example dynamic navigation systems (DNS) and surgical guides, to enhance precision and safety during implant placement. Case Presentation: The paper showcases successful implementation of implantation by employing thorough preoperative planning and strategically selecting implant kinds, that range from standard to ultra-short, depending on individual anatomical requirements. This is illustrated through in-depth case studies. Conclusion: The results, confirmed by subsequent evaluations, demonstrate the durability of the implants without any notable issues, affirming the effectiveness as well as safety of such surgical methods for intricate dental implant procedures.
