Abstract

Abstract The goal of work is to design cost-effective electromyography (EMG) signal acquisition system using GNP/FE electrode. EMG signal represent the muscle action potentials. Acquisition of EMG signal using Ag/AgCl and GNP/FE3O4@PVDF Surface Electrodes along with Arduino UNO. GNP/FE3O4@PVDF Electrodes with three different concentrations (1.5:1.5, 2:1, 3:0) are designed to acquire EMG signal for different age groups. EMG signal is Pre-processed by using wavelet transform. Performance of acquired EMG signal is measured with parameters like error percentage, correlation co-efficient, signal to noise ratio (SNR). The designed GNP/FE3O4@PVDF with 3:0 ratio shows good performance to acquire EMG for all age groups with minimal error and nominal SNR.
