Study on the correlation of TGF-β_1 with dysmenorrhea in adenomyosis

Objective:To investigate the expression of TGF-β1 in adenomyosis from the level of protein,and to analyze the correlation between it and the intensity of dysmenorrhoea.Methods:Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect TGFβ1 expression in ectopic endometrium,endometrium of uterus.Results:The TGF-β1 staining intensity of glandular cells in ectopic endometrium of adenomyosis was increased compared to that in endometrium of adenomyosis uterus and leimyomas uterus,no cyclic change was shown,and a positive correlation was found with the severity of dysmenorrhea in adenomyosis group.Conclusion:The expression of TGF-β1 in adenomyosis is higher than that in control group,and a positive correlation is found between it and the severity of dysmenorrhea in adenomyosis group,but it dose not change with the menstrual cycle.TGF-β1 may be correlated to the dysmenarrhea in adenomyosis.
