Abstract
Objective:To explore the quality of life(QOL) of patients with moderate to severe endometriosis treated with different drugs after surgery. Methods:96 patients with moderate to severe endometriosis were divided into group A and group B randomly,47 patients in group A were treated with adjuvant gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist(GnRH-a) after surgery,49 patients in group B were treated with adjuvant gestrinone after surgery, the patients in the two groups were followed up at one week before surgery,1,3 and 6 months after surgery, then QOL scores were conducted, the QOLs in the two groups were analyzed. Results:There was no significant difference in remission rate and recurrence rate between the two groups;the incidence of adverse reactions in group A was significantly higher than that in group B(P0.05).QOLs at 3 and 6 months after surgery in group B were significantly higher than those in group A. Conclusion:There is no significant difference in short-term curative effect(remission rate and recurrence rate) between adjuvant GnRH-a and adjuvant gestrinone after surgery in treatment of moderate to severe endometriosis, the curative effect of the latter is superior to that of the former in terms of improvement of QOL.
