Abstract

Objective: To observe the distribution of kidney- deficiency syndrome types of patients with dysmenorrheal due to adenomyosis. Methods: 92 patients with adenomyosis were chosen into the case group, and 85 patients with no adenomyosis who came to hospital for test at the same period were chosen into the control group. The patients in the two groups took part in questionnaire survey. Results: As a single- syndrome type,kidney- yang deficiency and blood stasis appear most often in the case group. While as a compound- syndrome type,qi- stagnation- blood stasis due to kidney deficiency and qi- stagnation due to kidney deficiency had a higher ratio. The patient's body constitution of qi- stagnation- blood stasis due to kidney deficiency,qi- stagnation due to kidney deficiency, and cold qi stagnation due to kidney- yang deficiency mainly belongs to blood stasis constitution,qi stagnation constitution and qi deficiency constitution. Conclusion: Qi- stagnation- blood stasis due to kidney deficiency and qi- stagnation due to kidney deficiency are the major kidney- deficiency syndrome types, and blood stasis constitution is the most susceptible.
