Abstract

Endometriosis is a common disease in reproductive term of woman that cause pelvic pain and infertility. Is typically is located in genital organs but occasionally it can be seen in extragenital regions like cutis and lungs. Our patient was 35 years old and had been operated for swelling and pain in left inguinal region. In microscobik examination of the surgery materials subcapsular endometriosis focus in a lymph node had been seen as well as cutaneous endometriosis foci. Lymph nodes with endometriosis foci had been reported in other locations but there were no reports that described that location in temporary literature in English. This situation can be confusing in differantial diagnosis with tumor metastases in lymph nodes when discovered in areas that receive tumor metastases frequently. We thing that our case was worth to be reported because of this possibility and its infrequency.
