RESUMEN   A pesar de ser infrecuentela endometriosis activa durante la postmenopausia, algunas veces nosenfrentamos a casos en los que por alguna razon una mujer con antecedente deendometriosis ha sido anexectomizada tempranamente o bien llega a esta demanera natural. En cualquiera de estas situaciones, de igual manera que manejamosal climaterio fisiologico sin otras anomalias conexas, debemos ofrecer losbeneficios de la atencion ginecologica integral, en cuyo caso nosenfrentariamos tambien al riesgo de reactivar o empeorar la endometriosis alemplear la terapia de reemplazo hormonal (TRH).
