Abstract

The aim is to investigate and evaluate innovative treatments for chronic pelvic pain in women in order to improve their quality of life. Materials and methods. A comprehensive analysis of modern literature sources, including clinical studies and reviews for the period from 2012 to 2022, has been conducted. Data from the eLibrary and MEDLINE/PubMed databases were used to study new therapeutic approaches and their effectiveness. Results. Chronic pelvic pain in women has a complex and multifactorial nature. Using the "three P's" model (predisposing, provoking, and supportive factors), it is possible to approach diagnosis and treatment more effectively. Hormone therapy and lifestyle changes stand out as key elements in treatment, in addition to traditional methods. Conclusions. An integrated approach that takes into account biological, psychological and social aspects can significantly improve the treatment of chronic pelvic pain in women. It is important to take into account the individual factors and preferences of patients in order to develop the most effective and safe treatment strategies.
