The Analysis of Differential Diagnosis Between Ovarian Endometriomas and Other Pelvic Cystic Mass by Ultrasonography

Objective:To approach the differential diagnosis between chocolate cyst and other cyst mass in pelvic by ultrasound.Method:The 78 cases of ovarian endomentriomas were tested by color Doppler sonography,including their shapes,edges, intraechoes and relationship with around tissue.Results:Of 78 cases of ovarian endomentriomas,73 cases were confirmed by operation,under ultrasonic lead,or laparoscopic operation(93.6%).3 cases were inflammatory mass,1 case was mucinous cystadenoma,1 was dermoid cyst.Conclusion:It is significant to identify the difference between chocolate cyst of ovary and other cyst mass of pelvic cavity by diagnostic ultrasound.
