Analysis on CT images of female pelvic spaceoccupying lesions

Objective:To evaluate the characteristics of CT images in female pelvic spaceoccupying lesions.Methods:The images of CT scan and dual-phase enhanced scan in the diagnosis of female pelvic spaceoccupying lesions were retrospectively analyzed.All 106 cases were diagnosed by surgery and pathology.Results:Among 116 lesions in 106 cases of pelvic spaceoccupying lesions,uterine fibroids was in 32 cases,ovarian cystadenoma and cystadenocarcinoma in 16 cases,ovarian epithelial cell carcinoma in 12 cases,cervical cancer in 10 cases,ovarian teratoma in 12 cases,ovarian cyst in 14 cases,ovarian metastasis cancer in 8 cases,endometrial carcinoma in 8 cases,pelvic inflammatory mass in 4 cases,endometriosis in 4 cases and mesenteric cyst in 1 case.The coincidence rate of accurate qualitative diagnosis in CT reached to 84.4%(98/116) and that of accurate positioning diagnosis was 86.2%(100/116).Conclusion:CT has significant superiority in the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the positioning of pelvic mass,especially for benign and malignant tumors with high accuracy.
