Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effects of laparoscopic uterine nerve ablation(LUNA)on dysmenor rhea, chronic pelvic pain and dyspareunia of adenomyosis. Methods The patients with adenomyosis underwent LUNA.Visual analog scales(VAS)were used to measure pain pre-and post-operatively.Results Sixty patients with adenomyosis treated by LUNA were followed up for 6~24 months. The score of dysmenorrhea, chronic pelvic pain and dyspareunia decreased significantly(P0.01)after operation, but the scores at different time points of postoperative follow-up showed no difference(P0.05).The satisfactory rates of patients were 76.92% 3 months after operation and 69.23% two years after. Conclusion LUNA is effective for relieving dysmenorrhea and chronic pelvic pain with adenomyosis.
