Enduring Fortitude: Unveiling Mother Ignacia del Espíritu Santo, the RVM Sisters, and Their Influence Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic and Beyond

This qualitative exploratory study employs purposeful and maximum variation sampling to explore Mother Ignacia del Espíritu Santo's spiritual journey and the devotion of RVM Sisters. Gathering thirty participants offers a diverse range of perspectives, providing insights into the local community. Thematic analysis highlights their impact during the pandemic in Iligan City. Ignacian spirituality spreads through education, retreat, other ministries and digital adaptation by the RVM Sisters. Through in-depth literature reviews, interviews, and observations, the researcher uncovers Mother Ignacia's journey, resonating with modern spirituality. RVM Sisters adapt during the pandemic, inspiring hope in words and in action. Their humility despite their accomplishments is particularly inspiring. This transformative journey holds significance, illuminating resilience in a post-COVID-19 context. The study contributes to literature and suggests amplifying RVM Sisters' influence. Overall, in a pandemic-stricken world, it emphasizes spirituality's role as a beacon of strength and compassion, inspiring revitalization.
